I just received a new calling in our ward. I'm now the First Counselor in the Primary Presidency. Can we say "Overwhelmed?" Well, I'm actually really excited so the nerves and stress haven't hit yet. I get to spend every Sunday with God's Children singing, praying, and learning together.
I am so thankful for this opportunity to serve those I love and their children. I'm excited for the things I'll learn as well. I'm grateful for Steve's support as I take on this new assignment. Thomas is excited to be able to go to Priesthood more often instead of Relief Society :)
I know God doesn't give us any challenge or assignment we can not overcome. So I go forward with a prayer in my heart that I can do His will.

ReplyDeleteI'm a follower of your blog now. Wahoo! I am the 2nd counselor in the primary presidency in my ward. I completely agree Sundays are a lot more fun when you spend it with cute lil children.
